What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that sites you visit send and store on your computer or mobile device, only to be transmitted back to the same sites on your next visit. It is precisely because of cookies that the site remembers the user’s actions and preferences (such as, for example, login data, chosen language, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not have to be indicated again when the user returns to said site or navigates from one page to another of it. Cookies, therefore, are used to perform computer authentication, session tracking and storage of information regarding the activities of users accessing a site, and may also contain a unique identifier code that allows tracking of the user’s navigation within the site itself for statistical or advertising purposes. In the course of browsing a site, you may also receive cookies on your computer or mobile device from sites or web servers other than the one you are visiting (third-party cookies). Some operations could not be accomplished without the use of cookies, which in some cases are therefore technically necessary for the very operation of the site. There are various types of cookies, depending on their characteristics and functions, and these can remain on the user’s computer or mobile device for different periods of time: session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed; persistent cookies, which remain on the user’s equipment until a predetermined expiration date. Under current regulations, express user consent is not always required for the use of cookies. In particular, they do not require such consent (technical cookies), that is, those used for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. These are, in other words, cookies that are essential for the operation of the site or necessary to perform activities requested by the user. For those aimed at creating profiles related to the user and used for the purpose of sending advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when browsing the web (profiling cookies), prior consent of the user is required.
What cookies are used on the Site
The Site uses cookies for the operation of the Site and the provision of services on the Site, to understand and improve the user’s browsing experience, and to send you advertisements in line with your preferences expressed as part of your web browsing. In particular, the Site uses:
○ technical cookies, i.e. browsing or session, strictly necessary for the operation of the Site or to enable you to take advantage of the content and services you have requested (condition of lawfulness: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, i.e. browsing the Site and taking advantage of its content and services);
○ analytical cookies assimilated to technical cookies for the production of statistics in aggregate form (condition of lawfulness: derogation with respect to the collection of consent provided for by the legislation on electronic communications and, in particular, by Art. 122 of the Privacy Code as clarified by the “
Cookies and other tracking tools guidelines – June 10, 2021
” of the Data Protection Authority);
○ profiling cookies, including third-party cookies, i.e., cookies aimed at creating profiles related to the user and used for the purpose of sending you advertising messages in line with your preferences expressed in the context of web browsing (condition of lawfulness: your prior consent. The provision of Your consent is merely optional).
Third-party cookies, i.e., cookies from sites or web servers other than those of Giuriati Group, are also used for purposes specific to those third parties.
In detail, the cookies on the Site are as follows:
- WooCommerce
- tk_ai: Stores a randomly generated anonymous ID. It is used only within the dashboard area and is used for usage monitoring if enabled.
- WordPress
- wordpress_test_cookie: Session – acceptance test wordpress cookie
- cookiewp-settings-1 and settings-time-1: Technical – Cookie settings for WordPress
How to enable or disable cookies
Browser
You will be able to authorize, block or delete (in whole or in part) cookies through the specific functions of your browsing program (Browser): in the event that technical cookies are disabled, it is possible that the Site may not be consultable or that some services or certain functions of the Site may not be available or may not function properly and/or you may be forced to change or manually enter certain information or preferences each time you visit the Site (the installation of technical cookies is a necessary requirement for the proper functioning of the Site). For details on how to set preferences on the use of cookies through your browsing browser, you can consult the relevant instructions. Below are links to instructions on cookies for major browsers:
Cookie settings
You can choose which categories of cookies to allow by selecting them through our Cookie settings. We inform you that:
- since technical cookies are those that are strictly necessary for the operation of the Site or to take advantage of the content and services requested, it is not possible to disable this type of cookie, as this would affect the proper functioning of the Site or the enjoyment of its content and services. If you do not want that category of cookies to be installed on your device, you are encouraged not to use the Site (installation of technical cookies is a necessary requirement for the proper functioning of the Site);
- Since analytical cookies that are assimilated to technical cookies are used for the sole purpose of producing statistics in aggregate form to enable the Owner to understand and improve the user’s browsing experience, the same rules as for technical cookies apply to them. If you do not want that category of cookies installed on your device, you are encouraged not to use the Site;
- failure to consent to the installation and use of profiling cookies (including those of any third parties) will not affect the operation of the Site. The provision of your consent is merely optional.
In addition to this procedure, you may also block or delete (in whole or in part) cookies through the specific functions of your web browser (see above on this). The choices you make regarding the Site’s cookies will in turn be recorded in a special technical cookie, having the characteristics listed in the appropriate cookie table. Such a cookie may, however, not work properly in some circumstances: in such cases, we recommend that you delete unwelcome cookies and also inhibit their use through the functionality of your web browser. Your cookie preferences will need to be reset if you use different devices or browsers to access the Site or if you delete cookies from your device.
Other tracking tools
Subject to your consent, the Site may possibly also use technologies similar to cookies and, in particular, third-party “pixel-tags” (consisting of small portions of code) that allow tracking of your navigation on the web page (or part of the web page) where the pixel-tag is located, This is done in order to show you, as part of your web browsing, advertisements in line with the interaction you have made with the Site (so-called remarketing), as well as to enable analysis of the performance of advertising campaigns, visits to the Site’s pages and conversions (such as registration to the Site).
The activation of pixel-tags is linked to your prior consent to the use of profiling cookies linked to them. You may then, at any time, block the use of such technology by disabling profiling cookies (see above regarding cookies for instructions).
Extra EU/EEA transfer of personal data
Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) that do not offer an adequate level of data protection, as established by appropriate decisions of the European Commission(https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection/adequacy-decisions_en).

- revoke your consent, if previously given for the processing of your personal data, at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before revocation(withdrawal of consent).
